Bryce Nelson, Ricky Mendoza, Jessica Bruggeman & Kelsey Leavitt
This is the Camp Team I am blessed to be a part of this summer! There are 2 other teams from Corban going to different camps around the Northwest and California. Ricky and Bryce were on Camp Team together last summer (2012), and this is a new experience for Kelsey and I. Ricky, Bryce and I will all be Seniors at Corban this fall, and Kelsey will be a Junior. Though it's not the case grade wise, as far as age goes, I'm the baby of the group. I'll turn 21 on June 8, our first day at Tanalaian Bible Camp.
We took a class together, along with the other 8 camp team participants during the Spring 2013 semester at Corban. This class helped equip us for the summer ahead, and also allowed us to get to know each other a little better!
I have had classes with Ricky and known him since Freshman year. Bryce and Kelsey I met last year, and have been on the Newspaper staff at school with Kelsey for the past two years. I am excited to get to invest in our friendships over the span of the upcoming 8 weeks as we draw close, invest in, and depend on one another. God has an awesome plan ahead of us for how he is going to use us this summer to further HIS kingdom. We are thankful for your prayers and support as we travel on this exciting, challenging and servant-based journey this summer.
